Our store got its start over 50 years ago as an Army surplus store. Charlie Horn, our founder, had a keen sense for business and was known to trade for anything. A radio D.J. started calling him Trader Horn and it stuck! The store grew from there to become Trader Horn's True Value hardware and finally the Ace store it is today. We've grown quite a bit from old surplus days and now sell everything from fresh fudge to lumber, cabinets, plants, tools, and so much more.
