Doegnitz Ace Hardware

This store was built in 1908 by William Doegnitz & opened for business January 1st 1909, he worked here until his death in 1950, He was 91, his son Ewald worked here from 1910 to 1975, his son Harold worked here from 1950 to 1984, his son Donald started working here in 1960 & took over the business in 1984, he now runs the store with his son Daniel who started in 1980. The store was supplied by various independent dealers until April of 1970 when then owner Harold signed on to be an Ace Hardware dealer.
