Running a successful business takes passion. For Ace store owner Dan Boudreaux, his passion for helping children led to fundraising efforts for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Dan Boudreaux has been an Ace Hardware store owner since he was 22 years old. He and his wife Cindy were inspired by the Ace Hardware Foundation’s fundraising efforts for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. True to the helpful motto of Ace, the Bourdreaux family decided to get involved in their community. They contacted Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

"We started a golf outing to raise money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals," said Dan.

Almost 30 years later, the annual Cajun Classic golf outing continues to raise money. Through is single store, Dan Boudreaux’s Ace Hardware has raised more than $750,000 for CMN. A large portion of those funds helped build the dedicated children’s hospital at Our Lady of the Lake.

"It’s great to look back at the children and see how this hospital helped bring them a step closer to a better life and feeling good again," said Cindy.
