• Post level: A specialty hand level, this type of tool has an L shape and three bubbles: one on each arm and another in the center. Its design makes it possible to determine whether a post for a deck, porch, light fixture, mailbox or other project is level.
• Angle level: A popular choice for plumbing projects, this type of level has a spirit bubble for checking whether slopes and straight surfaces are level. It has a tool for measuring angles in degrees all in one.
