Since 2012, Ace has given the Coolest Hardware Store award to stores whose offerings, services and culture are differentiated to suit the desires of their communities.
Sebastopol Hardware Center
Sebastopol Hardware was started nearly six decades ago by a
pair of entrepreneurs who were frustrated having to travel 30
minutes from their small town to get anything they needed.
Today, the store in Sonoma County proudly carries
a diverse product mix designed specifically to meet the needs
of its community.
Woods Ace Hardware
Step inside of Woods Ace Hardware in Summerville, South
Carolina, and you’ll be greeted by the huge product selection
and impressive grill assortment. Beyond that is where things
get interesting with the Post Office and Greenhouse. But what
makes Woods Ace Hardware really stand out is the beer garden
offering live music on Friday nights and an ever-expanding
calendar of community events.
At Ace Hardware we believe everyone has a story to tell. These are stories of amazing moments, where an individual or community bonds over shared strength and determination. These stories happen in big cities and small towns across America — each and every day — even in hardware stores.
Live Like Mikey Goodwin
The enthusiasm and energy of a young athlete can brighten an
entire community. Even though Mikey Goodwin’s life was cut short,
thanks to fundraising efforts, his spirit lives on at a community
park named in his honor.
Valentine’s Day
For seniors who have lost their spouses, holidays can be an
especially hard time. Thanks to the team at Pellicci Ace Hardware
in Farmington, Minnesota, the residents of the Trinity Senior
Campus nursing home can share a treat, a thoughtful card, and
some warm smiles on Valentine’s Day.
